WE ARE IN TOP 4!!!!!!
Won ACJC 3-2 and we're off to the semi-finals! Woohoo!!! Well done, TJC Table Tennis!!! 7 years, we're back in top 4 again after 7 years! =DDD
Was nearly on the verge of breaking down when we went into our last and deciding match. Melinda was lagging by 2 sets, then lagging 9-10 in the third, then deuce, and Melinda won the 3rd set, and subsequently went on to win the 4th and 5th sets! Watching the match can give any normal person a heart attack. Melinda, you're the best!!! ^^
But I've to admit, ACJC played really well too.
*** For those who are interested to know the score for the match against HCI the day before, we lost 4-1. I would say we really fought hard, and some of the scores were really close. Except for my match, that is. LOL. Played singles!?!? Never trained for it?!?! And my opponent was Delfina?!?! Of course GG la. Haha.
*** Anyway, came back to school and went to Bedok's Pizza Hut as a team to celebrate. Mr Tan's treat. Thanks Mr Tan!!! Then we started camwhoring, until Serene came. The AHS table tennis gathering or something. LOL. Yingen, Hweeli, Mayi, Melinda, Serene and me (Jiehui left before this). Really enjoyed the wonderful AHS company. Pardon me, I can't help but keep reminiscing about AHS because those were really the best 4 years of my life. I'm very sure I won't have another 4 years like that.
I'm so happy about the fact that we're in top 4. Who cares about the stupid PW which I got a freaking B for when the whole group got an A except me? I was quite disappointed by it initially, because I knew I had worked very hard for it. Seriously, I don't know what went wrong. I don't think it's OP that caused it because I think I did pretty well for it. The individual components(PI, EoM, I&R)? I don't know. But it's okay, it may be a blessing in disguise and will just spur me to work even harder just to get my As. Told myself on the bus on the way to PLMGS, if we get into top 4, I'll forget everything about PW and my disappointment. Come to think of it, I think it was a trade-off given to me, either Top 4 or an A. No one can get the best of both worlds, can they? Well, I got Top 4, so I'm contented. =)
To everyone else who did not get their desired results, don't be disheartened, things happen for a reason, either it may serve as a wake-up call to make you work even harder for A Levels or to tell you that you're better off at studying for content-based subjects instead of subjects that you can't study for. Like I'm sure there are many HCL students who didn't score A1 for your Express Chinese in Sec 3, but didn't you go on to collect your 7A1s, 8A1s and so on in your O Levels and even getting A1 for your Higher Chinese? They say a good start is half the battle won, but a bad start can also be half the battle won. =P So cheer up!!! =)

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
