Friday (27.02.09)
The day started on a happy note for me! =) Can't really remember much about school except I was chionging math tutorial all the way. Was hoping that I could at least get to present the answers to one question for math(because I haven't gone in front of the class to present for a LONG time), but everyone volunteered before I could even raise up my hand. So disappointed. =(

And oh, I managed to scrape a pass for my math test, the first math test of the year! Very big achievement because I've never passed any sort of math test before, not even in secondary school(amath, I mean), except at the O levels exams. So, yay, math started on a good note this year, hope that it'll end on a good note too! =P

Here's something random but I realised I've been drinking Pokka Elderflower Tea everyday for the whole week. Everyone should try it. It's damn nice, low-calorie somemore! =)

Head to Parkway Macs to study with Ah Cat after school ended. We were barely into one hour of studying, then Ah Cat said 'I'm so tired of studying, wanna go walk around Parkway?'. So within one minute, we were outside of Macs, with our stuffs all packed up and ready to go... go shopping. LOL.

We were at Marks and Spencer when I saw this teddy bear pasta. I thought it was really cute. Then Ah Cat: Aiyah, eat already, shit come out still the same. Me: No, later shit teddy bears! Imagine how cute it would have been, to shit teddy bears. Once you get up from the toilet bowl, there's alot of teddy bears in it. Hehehe. =P

Anyway, we hung around until about 8 before heading home.

Saturday (28.02.09)
Happyyyyy!!! But training was mother tiring. Almost died doing suicides. Lol, since when do I not feel like dying when doing suicides? It's not called suicides for nothing, you know? Came home after training and watched TV for the whole afternoon.

I basically slacked for the whole day today. Shall complete my remaining tutorials and study for chem SPA tomorrow. But for now, I shall go watch the first episode of Boys Before Flowers. I'm very lag, I know. Hahaha.
Great achievement!
Tuesday, February 24, 2009 10:44 PM
I completed 3 chem tutorials(isomerism, proteins, amino acids) today!!! Like omg right? It's a huge achievement considering I didn't do any tutorials for the whole of organic chemistry except for alkanes and alkenes. Lol. Now Mr Foo can no longer look at my blank tutorials and then at me. Yay, go me!

Maths test yesterday was quite alright. And yes, you're not seeing wrongly, that's me saying that maths was manageable, and I only started studying vectors in school in the morning. Usually I can only complete 2 questions in 50 minutes, but I completed all 4 questions(with some sub-questions blanks) within 50 minutes. I think I can get at least a 5/30 which is pretty good for a math idiot like me. Hee. =P Next up, econs test tomorrow! National income stats should be manageable right? No.

Anyway, today had been fun and funny. ^^

Rather short entry because I'm mother tired now. Eyelids are going to shut anytime. Goodnight! =)
Abs, here I come!
Monday, February 23, 2009 10:54 PM
180 pushups, 180 crunches, 180 squats and 15 suicides in 10 minutes for training today. At this rate we're going, I'm going to turn my flabs into abs in no time. Like, right.

Scatterbrained me left my shoebag at Tampines MRT station because I took out my phone to listen to music and when the train came, I just walked into the train without taking along the shoebag. I didn't realise anything until the train was almost reaching Pasir Ris. Was like, 'Eh, like abit light ah. Did I forget something?', I look at my hands, one carrying bag, the other carrying stick. Aaaahhhhhh, where's my shoebag??? And I had to take the train back to Tampines again, luckily my shoebag was still sitting on top of the granite bench. Phew.

Here's something for a change, tomorrow's gonna be a short day!~ Hahaha.

And to Zhaopeng or whichever floorball guy, I firmly disagree with having a pink jersey! LOL.
Lost, and found
Saturday, February 21, 2009 10:36 PM
I LOST MY WALLET TODAY!!! But I found it in the end, thanks to a really kind soul, Mohammed Roslan.

So here's how it happened, I was heading to school for training in the morning. I got out of my house gate and saw that bus 2 was at the opposite bus-stop, so I ran across the road and up the bus, not knowing that I had dropped my wallet in the middle of the road while running. I was digging my bag for my wallet to pay the bus fare, but I just couldn't find it, until the bus started to move. To my horror, I saw my tattered blue wallet lying in the middle of the road. Then I told the bus-driver, "Uncle, 可以放我下去吗?我的皮包掉在地上。" Then he said he can't, I could only alight at the next stop. And so I did, and ran all the way back. It may only be just a bus-stop away, but imagine running with a stick and a heavy bag, nearly took my life. When I finally got back to the bus-stop, my wallet was no longer there! I panicked la, because my IC was in my wallet, along with my EZ-link, residential pass, house gate card and some money. And because I didn't have the house gate card, there was no way I could enter from the back gate, I had to asked this Ah Ma who was sitting at the bus stop to beep her card for me. I came home and started searching on the internet on where I can report the loss of my IC. Then I decided to take bus to Simei Police Post(and stupid me didn't even know where the nearest police post to my house was, had to research for it on the internet!) to make a police report.

While I was on the bus to Simei, I received a phone call, turned out to be the person who had picked up my wallet. He said he was still working and would meet me in the afternoon after his work to return me the wallet.

He did return me the wallet in the afternoon, with my IC, EZ-link, residential pass, house gate card and my $40.50, ALL INTACT!!! Oh my goodness, I can't believe I'm so lucky to have met such a kind soul, he could have easily taken my wallet and never return it back, but he went through all the trouble to contact me and arranged to meet me at Bedok Inter to return it to me. He even apologised for making me wait for him to reach Bedok, I was seriously stumped for words la. How can anyone be this nice? I kept thanking him non-stop. Lol. Really, if he hadn't return me the wallet, the damage done would have been $258.50($100 for replacement of IC, $18 for EZ-link, $50 for residential pass, $50 for house gate card and my $40.50).

And the funny thing is, he managed to contact me through my 'sexual abstinence until marriage' pledge card which had my phone number.

I can't believe how lucky I had been...okay I've been repeating this for quite a number of times already. I'm just so happy that I found my wallet. =)

Actually I don't have much to write but...

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY!!!
Ah Cat, the person who makes me look forward to school everyday

Thanks so much for everything. Thank god I met you. Sometimes I wonder where would I be now if you weren't allocated to 18/08 or if I've never met you. I think I would probably be a drop-out now because I couldn't stand the life in my class. Yes, the PAE period in my class was a living hell, I couldn't adjust, I had no one to talk to, I didn't have a common topic that I could converse on and I always end up talking about things that people didn't understand and they always gave me blank stares. JAE came, although I knew your initial impression of me was downright bad because it had to do with the class I came from, but I guess I did prove your impression wrong(lol). And the rest is history. ^^

Thanks for the balloon too!!! (Ah Cat, remember to fly down from the ceiling after reading this entry! Hahaha.)
HAPPY!!!

School was alright I guess. The debate on foreign worker dormitory during GP was quite fun. I think I did a pretty good job even though I started researching for info for my speech only at like 12midnight yesterday. Okay, I'm so 臭美, so don't mind me.

Was hanging out with the floorball girls at the stage area while waiting for table tennis training to start. Bitching helps to de-stress. LOL.

I'm super irritated by someone!!! Argh!!!
Superman me!
12:08 AM
I'm really amazed at myself. I did 150 push-ups, 120 crunches, 120 squats and 10 suicides(in 5 minutes) at training today. That's not counting all the running we did on court. Say hi to my flat flab abs! I really dread waking up tomorrow and finding myself half-paralysed.

Chemistry test was GG. If I'm lucky, I might be able to get 1 mark. T.T  I couldn't even remember 90% of the reagents and conditions, and the products formed even though I studied for 9 whole hours yesterday. Which is as good as not studying at all. If I had known, I would have just went straight to bed at 10 instead of mugging till the wee hours. Organic Chem just sucks so much.

Just got back from Jurong Point. They have this whole new phase which is like twice the size of the old Jurong Point. Got myself 2 tops and 3 necklaces, Mom paid for it. Thanks Mom. Dinner at Bakerzin was so-so, not as good as TCC yesterday. Headed home after some more shopping, but Dad got lost driving in Jurong. I think we went round and round the estate for nearly half an hour before we finally found the exit to the expressway. Lol.

I'm super tired now. My contacts are blurring like crazy. And I haven't done my Econs essay plan. I hope Mrs Chang doesn't go through it tomorrow or I'll be sent out of class. Anyway, I finished math tutorial 4 today. Huge achievement, okay? Took me like 2 hours to get it done. =P But the thing is, I haven't started studying Organic Chem. =X Lol. Good luck to me for the next 2 days.

Tomorrow's gonna be a long long day...
Happy Valentine's Day
Saturday, February 14, 2009 10:36 PM
Valentine's Day Eve was spent with OG14!!! Best OG ever!!! We ate, we bitched, we joked. I feel so proud of them looking at how bonded they are. And thanks so much for the beautiful hand-designed shirts you guys gave to the OGLs! Must have took alot of effort to make 9 pieces! They even tried to keep it a secret and sent Wen Hui to talk to me so that they could divert my attention while they brought the materials to make the shirts. I was wondering why he was so weird to suddenly sit down beside me and start talking to me. Will take a photo of the shirt and post it up tomorrow(edited). It's currently in washing because I wore it to training this morning. =P

I ♥ OG 14 too!!!

Roadrun was -.- Was quite happy that I completed roadrun because 3.6km was too mother tiring for me. Really, I already felt like giving up shortly after I ran out of school. Okay, that's how much my stamina sucks.

Spent Valentine's Day at training today. Didn't quite like my performance at training because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't coordinate my hands and legs. I couldn't do the Cross, I couldn't do the Forward. And Coach kept saying I look awkward shooting the way I do. Just couldn't get rid of the awkwardness. Super frustrating.

After training, headed down to Valhall for Agape training where there were quite a number of people. Jill Quek trained together with us/trained us! Like OMG right? The players there are really awesome at floorball, pretty intimidating for someone like me to be there and training together when I can't even do 1% of the things they do, or, half of the time, I don't understand some of the terms they use. But I'm glad they were very nice and patient.

Came back home after training and then went out with family for dinner.

So that's all about Valentine's Day for me. Honestly, it was the best V Day I ever had! I have OG 14(OGLs & OGMs), TJ Floorball girls (and guys), Agape, my family and my friends to spend Valentine's Day with. And not to forget, Ah Cat, who never fail to brighten up my day. Sorry if this entry sounds like Teresa's, but her post made me realised how lucky and blessed I was, to have these people around me. Thank you all for everything, I'm really grateful for all that.

Siblings 万岁!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

P.S. Thanks everyone for the V Day gifts! And Luowei, I'll hang that mini floorball on my bag forever. It's so cuteeee! Even this girl from Agape asked where I got it from. =)
No more flunking
Thursday, February 12, 2009 10:30 PM
I cannot flunk Biology!!!! Because that's the only subject I understand. Pathetic, but it's true. And that means I've to stay up and study as much as I can so that I can at least scrap a pass for tomorrow's test. Gotta perservere in keeping my eyes open even though I'm so mother tired that I can't even memorise my facts properly.

Table tennis training just now was -.- It was trials for the J1s, so there weren't any tables for some of us J2s to play. There was nothing to do, so I took my bio notes and went out to the grand-stand area to study. Mr Tan made me go back in. What the hell, the room was so stuffy. There was nothing for the captain to do anyway, so what's there for me this vice-captain to do? Okay, I'm not exactly fond of Mr Tan's inflexible way of doing things - the guys team incident, like how he always give his two cents' worth when we're in the middle of a match. It irritates me more than anything else when someone tells you 'you should try to loop instead of smacking and killing the opponent right away. You will have another try at smacking once the ball comes back'. Seriously, what kind of a rationale is that? Aren't you supposed to trash your opponent as quickly as possible with every single chance you have? Every player knows that if the opponent happens to be stronger, you probably won't have even have a chance come in contact with the ball anymore. His rationale just seem....screwed to me. And, I feel like talking to him about the guys team incident some time next week, because I feel like it's unfair to the guy involved. But I need more confidence to argue my way through. Sucks when you know you aren't as confident as you wish to be.

Anyway, after the trials ended, we played a couple of matches. I lost all 3 single matches, won the 2 doubles matches together with Hweeli and Melinda. Was so disappointed with the single matches la, I thought I could withstand at least 1 set, but no, I lost straight sets for all 3 matches. And I lost again to the person whom I lost to at last year's national individual championships. Argh, was so angry with myself. Makes me wonder if the training all this while had been in vain.

Alright, Bio, here I come! And, good luck to everyone running roadrun tomorrow! Just do your best, okay, I should be telling that to myself . =(  Why the face, you ask. I'm in the same team as the fastest girl in school, so tell me, how in the world am I not going to feel pressured to do least reasonably well so that I won't pull down my team's score? Good luck, to me.
TIRED!!!
Monday, February 09, 2009 11:05 PM
Just got back from training. I'm mother tired now. I'm amazed at how much I ran today. We ran about 3km for PE. Was trying to get a better timing since road run is this friday, so I was trying to push myself as far as I can. Seriously, mother tiring. felt like giving up halfway. Then for training at TSH, we ran alot on the courts and nearing end of training, 8 suicides, 20 crunches, 20 pushups, 20 squats. Oh my goodness, the suicides nearly killed me. I was trying so hard not to get last again, not sure if I did achieve it because I was too tired to make sense of everything.

After training, had dinner at Cafe Cartel with Teresa, Wei Ling, Michelle and Pinn Xian. Then, my 3km run, training, suicides and everything went down the drain. Because I ordered a Tic-Tac-Toe Platter. Omg, everything was potato - french fries, cheddar fries and potato wedges, DEEP FRIED! Argh, blame it on lack of self-control. Haha.

Yay, tomorrow's a super short day. My classes end at 11.40am, but I'm very sure that I'll be crashing Econs H2 lecture to sleep, so look out for me! Hehe. Then it'll be studying and catching up on lectures and tutorials with great help from Ah Cat, all the way until table tennis training starts at 6pm. Man, I feel like going Marine Parade with Ah Cat tomorrow after school to drink Koi Cafe and slack there. Haha. No, cannot, must have self-discipline! NEED TO STUDY!!!
OG 14, the Zai-est OG ever!
Saturday, February 07, 2009 9:14 PM
Orientation Undefined 2009: Ignite the Infinite had been a blast! I myself had loads of fun even though it was supposed to be an orientation for the J1s. It was a really great week, I didn't want it to end. And I really enjoyed OGL-ing with Bernard, Bo Jun, Aurial, Lavina, Priscillia, Wenhui, Jocelyn & Jermain!

Flying towels during Mass Games was super funny. We were up against a Xcion OG. So while the OGMs were playing the game, Bernard, Pris, Wenhui and I were behind them snatching towels together with Phay Key, Daphne and Royce(Xcion OGLs), trying to pick up the wet towels that had fallen onto the ground so that we can squeeze the water into the bottle(we wanted to help our OGMs win). And when it was Xcion's turn to be the one to squeeze the towels, we(Zandor OGLs) were trying to snatch the towels away from them and squeeze the towels dry onto the track. Royce was screaming into my face the whole time and I can't help laughing whenever I recall me playing tug-of-war with him using the towel. LOL. We OGLs must have look damn classic, snatching towels from one another. I think we were having more fun than the OGMs.

Subway after Mass Dance at Suntec was gossip time. Haha. Realised that guys are even more gossipy than girls. Call them the Gossip Guys! Lol. But it was a great bonding activity, everyone started to speak up. And some of the guys(like Zhi Yuan, lol) were even giggling away as they were gossiping. HAHAHA. We should gossip again on our OG outing! Hee.

The response to TJC Girls Floorball during PDP exhibition was awesome!!! At first we were saying that we should aim to fill up 2 pages of the forms, but the response was so overwhelming that we ended up filling 2 and a half pages. 90 over names in total, oh my goodness, we certainly didn't expect that! Even Coach was like, "How did you girls do that? Did you all put on hula hoops and flowers and danced or did you all hire a supermodel to publicise floorball?"

OGL morning-briefings

Zandor OGLs!

Bernard the Barber cutting hair for Jasper and the guys OGMs. Because the DM wanted to check our OG for improper attire. Seriously, they should have taught us how to cut hair instead of how to tie a tie during OGL briefings in the holidays.

ZANDOR!!!

OG 14!!!

Thank you OG 14 for being the best OG that an OGL can ever ask for! You guys were so enthu, funny, cooperative and wonderful! Thanks for being so cooperative and putting up with all that nonsense (which went as far as the writings on you guys' shirts). Putting on your school skirts, clipping up your fringes, taking out the ear accessories, even cutting your hair with a paper-cutting scissors, I really thank you all for listening to us and doing what we asked you all to, even though you all had every reason not to. I personally felt the writings on shirts was really too much. It totally disregards dignity for one. Even though it's not my fault, really sorry if it had caused any embarrassment for anyone. I hope you guys won't think that you've made the wrong choice coming to TJ just because of the things that happened.

And thanks for being so enthu! You guys took the initiative yourself to lead cheers, that OGLs didn't have to do much or scream ourselves hoarse. My voice was normal throughout orientation that all my friends accused me of slacking at orientation and not cheering as much as I should be. But really, it was because you guys led most of the cheers. =) Alot of the station masters and SCs had said that OG 14 was the most enthu, so keep it up! Hope you guys can bring this enthusiasm into the classrooms and continue to be so cheerful and optimistic!

Wish you guys all the best and hope you'll have the best time of your life in TJC!

OG 14, the Zai-est OG ever! Love you guys! ^^

People say we're the best!!!!
You say, I say, they say!!!!

I'm looking forward to OG outing!!! ^^

***
Went for training this morning in school. Was so shocked when I saw the guys having their trials there, I thought I had gone to the wrong training venue. But I didn't know training wasn't going to start until 10am.

Training was alright, not that tiring. But was so frustrated with myself during the match. I need to run faster!!! Argh!

Training ended at around 12 plus, and had lunch-cum-mini-bitching session with the girls before heading home to slack. Mother tired, I wanna go sleep already. When did 'mother' become an adjective? I picked it up while OGL-ing with the Beta HC people. Lol. Anyway, goodnight!
New Year Visiting with the Girls
Sunday, February 01, 2009 1:21 PM
The girls came over to my house yesterday afternoon before we headed off to Tracy's house.

Trying to make their hair in all sorts of weird manner in front of the mirror in my dining room. Centre-parting, pau...

Moustaches...

Kristy's trying to do Indian poker?

At Tracy's house, in her room

So we played Blackjack together with her brother, Kenneth, her cousin, and this neighbour of hers whom she doesn't know his name. Lol. Now I realised why Yingiet was so quiet throughout the whole game of Blackjack, because Kenneth was in the room! Hahaha. =P

At dinner time, Tracy was saying that she had lived there for 3 years but still don't know the name of that neighbour who played Blackjack with us. And the girls kept saying that he looked like Timo, Kristy's eyecandy. So Tracy ask Kenneth to come over and ask him to ask that neighbour for his name. The first thing he said was 'why? Yingiet wanna know him?' LOL. He went on to ask the guy for his name but he never got to finish his sentence. He was like 'Yingiet want ...' before Yingiet was trying to stop him.

Yingiet, Zhiying and I went upstairs to play Guitar Hero. I conclude, we all suck at it, badly. Zhiying and I were at the drums while Yingiet took the guitar. We played about 3 songs, and you know what, each time we barely completed 12 % of the song. Then at first we all blame it on Yingiet because once she starts making alot of mistakes, the drummers can't continue. In the end, she told me to play the guitar, I was fumbling with the keys(Tracy's little sister, Ze Ning, even had to remind me to strum the guitar while I'm trying to press the keys) and we hardly made it through 10% of the song. Hahaha! Ze Ning must have been laughing at us, the 3 jiejies who can't even complete half of the song. Then she took the guitar and played it(yes, that's Ze Ning on the guitar below). We were like OMG, she made it look so easy. She played it so well that we felt like a bunch of dopes. Lol. Man, give me Wii tennis anytime.
