Friday's english composition mock exam was a total screw-up. I had about half an hour left to write my situational writing in a state of partial mental blockness because I couldn't think of any points to elaborate on. I became more and more panicky as the clock ticked away. I submitted a half-page situational writing in the end. Miss Ng's going to faint upon seeing it. After starving ourselves the whole day to study for Biology SPA & the mock exam, the girls and I finally got to have a late lunch at East Point's Long John Silver after school. Shortly after I reached home, I went out with my family to have dinner at Tampines Mall's Din Tai Fung. Ate alot of baos & dumplings, my favourites. I'm currently in this dumpling or something-wrapped-in-something craze. I used to always have dumpling soup everytime I eat out but I'm slowly growing out of it because I don't find myself having as much dumpling soup as I used to. Oh yes, I'm really impressed by the service at Din Tai Fung's. They gave us another two xiao long baos just because two out of ten of the xiao long baos we ordered somehow 'burst' and the soup in it had leaked out. It was still edible and I thought there was no need for that but they insisted on making up for the burst ones. Not because we got two free xiao long baos, but that's what I call quality service. I saw the whole set of Doraemon comics in Popular. I've the urge to get it but I've to control myself and wait till exams are over. There's also the whole set of Harry Potter books I want to get. I want to read myself silly after the exams. Haha. But I don't wish to ask my Dad to get them for me. Okay, maybe I will, for the Harry Potter books since they are so expensive and it'll take me years to save up. Haha. Anyhow, I still need to save up to get the Doraemon comics because my savings are practically zero as I don't have the habit of putting aside some money everyday. Even if I do manage to save a miserable bit of money, I always spend it on something useless the next day. That's why I always find myself in a fix when I need more money than my usual allowance to get something. ******************* Stayed home in the day on Saturday. Watched TV and did A Math. Went to Parkway Parade in the evening. My Dad went there to get his N95 phone, his second phone this year. He kept saying that he needed a phone with the best camera in the market as it helps in his work. But I think its a total waste of money. How much difference can a 3 megapixels camera and a 5 megapixels one make? But since he got the N95, I tested it. Haha. I personally thought that only the 5 megapixels camera was good, whereas, the music speakers really pale in comparison with his previous N73 music edition. Then we headed to Swensen's for dinner. They had a new menu with loads of new dishes and of course, new ice-cream flavours! The new ice-cream flavours were must-haves so for desserts, I shared Topless 5 with my siblings even though I was supposed to refrain from eating ice-cream because I hadn't recovered from my cough yet. The new banana split flavour was splendid, it seems like the whole banana split boat was compressed into a scoop of ice-cream. Totally amazing. Reminds me of the bubble gum, which had the whole day's meals in it, invented by Mr Willy Wonka in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Haha. And miraculously, after eating the ice-cream, I've almost recovered from my cough today. Haha. ******************* I spent the whole of today's morning watching TV and then the early afternoon, practising A Math. In the late afternoon, went out with family to Leng Kee Rd's(Queenstown area) Volkswagen showroom to do car-viewing before heading to Purvis Street for Thai cuisine. While walking to the restaurant, we saw this I-don't-know-his-name HK celebrity. What I do know is that he acted in the 金枕头 show. My Dad said he was very famous in the 1980s & 1990s. He probably must had earned alot. But I must say he didn't put on any airs because my Dad said something in Cantonese to him, probably saying hello or something(I'm not sure since I'm a total idiot when it comes to Cantonese), he was really friendly and smiled and greeted back. Dinner was great. (And there was this cute and humorous waiter.) Haha. the restaurant had been renovated since our last visit there and it looks totally awesome & romantic(with loads of red furnishings) now. Alright, I have to go sleep now before my eyebags turns into grocery bags. Goodnight. ^^ Labels: Wonderful weekend

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
