Let me start from Valentines' Day. V-Day was alright, nothing special. But I'm quite surprised at how widely V-Day is celebrated at TJC. They call it Friendship Day here, but it's pretty much means the same thing, except the former is for the lovers and the latter, for friends. Having said that, my point of V-Day and F-Day being similar is no longer valid. Haha. But in either way, people still buy gifts for others. I had no idea that V-Day was going to be such a big event at TJ. Back at AHS, V-Day was just another normal day unless you have someone whom you can celebrate with.
Yeah, I was so surprised when almost everyone in my class started giving out sweets and chocs. Needless to say, I didn't prepare anything for them. XP The night before V-Day, I saw my sister wrapping sweets and chocs for her friends. And I, being a cheapo, asked if she could give me her extras so that I could eat them. Haha.
That's all for V-Day. The past few days have been quite hectic with OGL meetings and tutorials to complete. Thank goodness, all the projects are over. The past few days had also been pretty demoralising too. Received back some of the tests. I've been failing every subject, badly. Maths(2/18), Chemistry(2/20), Econs(8/20). There is still Biology test which we are going to receive tomorrow but I doubt it'll be anything good because I said before in one of my previous entries that I didn't bring my lecture notes for that open-book test. Shucks. The feeling of failing every test and being the last in class isn't a good one.
*** Yesterday was Dad's birthday. HAPPY 55th BIRTHDAY, DAD! It's time you go apply for senior citizen pass! HAHAHA.
Sis & I Me & Mum Dad was reluctant to take a photo with the cake... Anyway, the cake is not nice. All I tasted was chocolate. No berries, even though it's supposed to be a Blackforest cake. I'll never buy from that cake shop again. Alright, I've gotta go do my tutorials and read up lecture notes. I don't want to be last in class again once Orientation 2 is over. Bye! First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
