Promos results were released over the week. Passed all except for Math. So that means I still have to appeal and the appeal procedure is soooo troublesome. But that's the only thing I can help myself to try continue with four H2s.
But the point isn't with the appeal procedure, it's with my Econs! You know how hard I studied and memorised for Inflation, and guess what I got? 9 out of a freaking 25? Even I scored better for the Demand & Supply question which I was expecting a zero for it because smart-ass me spotted the wrong question, absolutely didn't study for it and had no idea what the hell I was writing for that question. But thank goodness I managed to scrape an E for Econs.
Floorball training had started. Thurday's 3-hour training was everything but 'the-first-training-after-promos'. Totally died doing the 15 suicides at the end of training. The subsequent days were also associated with floorball. Played some floorball with Lenny after OP rehearsal on Friday, learned the loud wrist shot from him. Okay, I haven't exactly master it yet, but at least it does sound something like a loud and not a silent wrist shot. Haha. Thank Lenny! Then Saturday morning was floorball training again. Headed for Pris' house for PW after that. It was more like an art and crafts plus karaoke session. They were listening and singing to Britney's first album, Westlife and the likes. Lol. Me? I didn't know the lyrics to any of the songs so I just quietly did the colouring of the pictures. Haha.
After PW, went to Comcentre to meet my parents who sent my iPhone there for repair and then to Great World City for dinner.
Gave up on trying to organise my iTunes library because it's so tedious! And went to watch this documentary called Taboo on National Geographic instead. The episode was on Body Cutters and man, I nearly vomitted at the sight of all that gore and blood. They were showing things like tattoos and things that people do on their body in order to give themselves an 'identity'. And there was this particular tribe somewhere in the world, they carved the skin on the backs of teenage boys to signify the start of their adulthood. And I really mean carving, not cut, which means they dig out the flesh too. All that without anaesthesia?!?! They carved so many grooves into the skin that when they heal, the skin looks very bumpy with alot of scars and keloids. Picture a crocodile's hide, that's how the skin look like. The purpose was to make it look like a crocodile skin, so that they look brave or something. I'm like what the hell? You don't have to do that just to show off to a girl that you're brave. They probably would die from the infection before they would even have the chance to look brave. Lol. There was also anothe tribe who did such carvings on stomachs of girls too, so that they would look 'beautiful'. It was said that the men of that tribe would not marry girls without carvings on their stomachs.
Here are the videos. Took me alot of courage to find them. Warning: Not for the faint-hearted.

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
