It has been ages since I last updated. Loads of things to do over the past weeks, couldn't take time off to blog. Well, the past weeks were lots of ups and downs. Nothing really serious, but I guess it does affect the mood sometimes.
While I may have gotten into the internship programme, other things weren't that pleasant. I had to drop Econs to H1 because apparently my tutors weren't too cool about letting me continue with four H2s. Teaches you why you shouldn't say you love your math teacher before anything actually happens. Lol. Felt so bummed out for one whole day. But told myself that maybe this was for the better. I wasn't counting on a scholarship anyway, so having four H2s isn't really a must. Thanks Ah Cat and Pris for helping me with amendment of the appeal and withdrawal form, and zooming around the school to look for my CT. And to Mrs Beetsma too, for being so understanding, for answering all my questions, and for walking in and out of the staff room like 5 times because I was troubling her with my appeal. Used to think that she was one strict teacher who belonged to the old-school of thoughts, who can't tolerate even a single squeak at the assembly ground, who keeps picking on me because I talk during assembly. But I was so wrong. Honestly, I couldn't help but felt that she had this motherly feel to her. Haha. What I'm trying to say is that, she's one nice teacher. Through this episode, those people whom I didn't like initially didn't seem so bad afterall. Like, I used to find this particular guy very irritating, but I no longer do now.
Oh, there was the WR from hell too. The day before the submission, my group came over to my house to camp until nearly 10pm. We were doing last-minute editting. Sucks. I never want to go through that again. It's like we were all racing against time to get to the binding shop before 10. Then halfway through printing, my printer ran out of ink. Ho seh liao! Luckily, it was only 4 pages which got affected. Then got my dad to fetch us to White Sands, but the shop closed already. Then I got the idea of going to school late the next day so that I can bind at the shop opposite our school. It was good thing that the binding shop closed before we reached, because, after that I got home and realised that we forgot to print the content page. -.- See, that's why I always believe that things happen for a reason. Certain things that seems bad on the outside may actually be a blessing in disguise. And so, the next day, I didn't go to school at the normal time, Pris was late too, something which I was thankful for. Haha. So we sat at the hawker centre trying to organise the pages and vetting through over and over again. Then, this PE teacher walked past, probably to get breakfast or something, scared the shit out of me. Because you see, the first period was supposed to be PE. But Pris assured me that the teacher is very nice, and he will just walk past pretending that he didn't see us. True enough, he didn't.
Took off my braces last week, like finally, but my teeth doesn't look anything like those actresses or actors you see in Korean dramas with nice straight white teeth. I'm beginning to think that braces are just things that suck money out of people's pockets. Got my retainers today and was told to wear them 24/7 except when I'm eating or brushing my teeth. I'm still adapting to speaking clearly with retainers on. So people, if you can't make out what I'm saying, please be more understanding and don't scream into my face or call me some mean names. =)
I got into OGL! I thought I screwed up the interview real badly. The guy beside me was so enthu that I was so sure he's definitely in. I don't know his name, shall see whether he'll be at the briefing tomorrow although I'm very sure he will be. Confirm, 100%, guarantee plus CHOP! Haha.
Gotta go tidy up my I&R! Bye! Labels: School

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
