Bored

The past few days had been like this: Wake up between 11am-12noon, watch HK drama serials until 2pm, lunch, practise piano, go online & maple until 7pm, dinner, shower, maple until 12midnight, sleep. Darn, I'm beginning to feel like a boy, like my bro. Except he plays dota instead of maple & he replaces the HK drama serials part with dota. I feel so unhealthy living like that. I feel like a sludge of fat, I mean I was already one in the first place, just that I feel like a bigger sludge now.

I did try to not live like a guy. Like yesterday, I was out in the afternoon shopping for winter clothes at Bugis. But when I came back at night, I started mapling again. -.-

I think it's true that people say the break after A Levels' overrated. It's not even the end of A Levels and I'm already feeling like this. Haha. I need a job, but I've no idea where to find one. And the thing is, I can only start work in January. By then, all the jobs would be snapped up by students waiting for their O or A Levels results. =(

Alright, I should take a break from Maple and go watch 下一站, 幸福. Great show, great acting from Vanness and 安以軒, I strongly recommend it.
A Levels' almost over!
Tuesday, November 24, 2009 3:13 PM
A Levels' almost over! One last paper...about one and a half weeks later... -.-

So yesterday night, went out with the girls for steamboat at Roxy and then to Grace's house for mahjong. And Grace & Shanmin were teaching Yingiet & I, the mahjong-idiots, how to play. Yesterday was my first time touching mahjong tiles. Lol. Now I understand the game alittle more. As Kristy was telling her how you have to get 3 tiles of the same or 3 consecutive tiles, Yingiet was like, 'oh...like codons!' Smacks head. Haha.

Tomorrow will be table tennis & badminton with the girls at Tampines Sports Hall. My much-needed exercise. I put on so much weight ever since I stopped training, plus studying always makes me feel hungry(and so, I eat alot). I really need to go back to the skip 1000 times, run 5km, gym & swimming daily routine after the end of A Levels. And also, back to floorball.
Prelims are over!
Friday, October 02, 2009 5:29 PM
I know I said I wouldn't be updating until after A Levels, but now that Prelims are over, I'm taking a hiatus of my hiatus. Lol. I screwed up Prelims. I don't want to think about how much work I've to put in after Prelims. =(

Been watching a number of Asian-American Youtubers' videos. I swear they're the most hilarious people ever! Search kevjumba, nigahiga or Happyslip, and you'll know what I mean. Here's one by kevjumba(featuring Happyslip) :

^ I laughed till I almost cried

^ The title speaks for itself. And no, this is not by Asian-American Youtubers.

And if you have some time to kill, try akinator. I have no idea how they do it, but it's damn accurate. Just think of anyone, could be real or a cartoon character, pokemon will also do.

Anyway, it's Mid-Autumn Festival tomorrow! I love mooncakes, never mind that they're unhealthy. My family already finished 2 boxes of mooncakes (going on 3), and today I came home, Dad bought Fullerton's and Shangri-la's mooncakes. It's our 3rd box of Shangri-la's mooncakes this week, -.- I'm going to die of diabetes from eating too much mooncakes. Apparently, my parents are fans of Shangri-la's mooncakes. Okay, I'm a fan as well, but only of their Mixed Berry Paste mooncakes. It's healthier because they're made of those stuffs that you have in fruity granola bars. I think this year's Mooncake Festival will be different from all other years. Instead of the usual dinner that our family have every year, we're going to have potluck/BBQ over at Dad's good friend's house! Technically, he's my neighbour since Ballota's just a walk away from Edelweiss, his son's my schoolmate and my sister's friend...so I don't know that makes us what. Lol.

Alright, I got to go now, Mom's yelling for me to go shower because I've been sitting infront of the computer(and stinking up my room) ever since I got back.

Tired!
Friday, August 14, 2009 10:10 PM
Yay, it's finally end of the week! Which also means, I just wasted another week. =( There's loads of tests these days. After you're done with one, it's back to studying for the next one.

You know, scatterbrain me actually forgot to attach the 2nd page(which was the whole of question 3 and half of question 2) of my answers to the Math lecture test? And I had no idea about it for the whole day until I went for Math remedial in the afternoon. I was flipping open my examination pad to do the remedial questions when I saw this page on which the contents looked weirdly familiar. Like it was not supposed to be there, but it's just there, right in front of me. Totally stunned. Luckily Mr Ang was nice enough to let me attach it back to my test script. =)

Yesterday's studying with Ah Cat, Guorong, Bojun and Szeling at library was quite productive. Although we didn't study for long, I managed to finish studying more than two-third of the Electrochem notes for the Chem test today. But the Chem test was still, argh. GP essay was even more ARGH!!! I chose the wrong question, I thought I knew what the question was asking. But as I wrote, I realised I was sinking deeper into deep shit. (I know that's a nice analogy, thank you.) I couldn't finish the essay, but it didn't matter since my organisation structure was already wrong in the first place. I didn't have a balance paragraph because all my balances were buried within my paragraphs, for Ms Thangam to hunt for them. Hahaha.

Anyway, today was a long day because which stretched until 5.30pm in the afternoon because of protected time. So tired at the end of it! But I still made a trip down to Tampines Popular because I wanted to get this string thing to like string my notes(like a fastener) together. Because my notes are like all over the place and my cupboard's so messy. And I'm proud to say that I just finished organising my Chem and Bio notes! =D

Alright, this entry pretty much sums up my entire week. I know I only mentioned about yesterday's and today's events, but multiply it by 2.5, that's about my whole week. Lol.

Goodnight!
09.08.09 Inkigayo
Wednesday, August 12, 2009 3:15 PM
9 August's SBS Inkigayo has got to be the best ever! My favourite boybands performing to songs of my favourite girlbands. 2PM(they look really hilarious in pink bows and shorts that look a tad too tight for them) performing to Tell Me Your Wish by SNSD and FT Island performing to Fire by 2NE1 and Pretty Girl by KARA. Okay, maybe SNSD & KARA aren't my favourites, but 2NE1 is. So FT Island performing Fire was really the bomb even though I don't dig their Sandara-inspired 'Lollipop' hairstyle. Lol.

Gotta go chiong the DLTC homework now. I definitely can't finish 35 questions, but I guess I'll try to complete as much as I can before I leave at 6 later for tuition.

(I'm so tempted to take a nap. Hee =P)
Long weekend
Tuesday, August 11, 2009 8:14 PM
Finally an update after eons! Haha. How did I spend my long weekend? Saturday night saw me going to Ion Orchard. Was there a week ago, so Saturday was my second time there. Ate at the same place as we did last week because the food's really nice and affordable! I think it's called Watami.

Bought some Japanese snacks from Nippon-ya, they're the types of souvenirs that you would buy back if you went to Japan for a holiday. But there's no need to take a plane there, everything in Nippon-ya comes from Japan, so you can save on the air fare. =P

Dad bought this weird globe, that mysteriously rotates on its own without the use of batteries or whatsoever, from the Wright Gift shop. I don't know, I still haven't figure out how it rotates without any kind of energy or force.

Welcome to my home! Got home and started snapping some pictures of my house while I was waiting for my sis to get out of the bathroom. Lol.

And welcome to my room. Don't be mistaken about the tortoise bolster on my bed, I'm not into soft toys at this age, it's just something my mom got for me from Mini Toons. I still have a whole bunch of tortoise plushies given by friends but they are kept away in my wardrobe because there's no space on my bed to put them. I don't want to be suffocated by tortoises when I sleep! Hahaha. And yes, you can see the 2PM on my desktop. =D

Sunday, didn't really go out except to Parkway for dinner at Crystal Jade. And no, I didn't watch NDP broadcast, I think I haven't been watching for about few years now. =S

***
Monday, went Orchard Central. I think it can be considered as another new shopping mall in Orchard. But honestly, Ion wins hands down. There wasn't much at Orchard Central to see, except the sky terrace, which gave quite a nice view of the city(okay, part of the city). Went over to CentrePoint for dinner at some La Mian Dumpling shop after that.

Pretty, isn't it?

Scary! I took this from the sky terrace.

Sis

With my sis

Selcas selcas. LOL

Anyway, you must have noticed by now that I've changed the layout. I'll be changing the song soon, but I can't decide between 2NE1, Michael Jackson or Mariah Carey. Okay, I know that a weird combination to choose from. Hahaha.

You can see that I've just started using Twitter. I signed up for an account initially so that I can follow 2PM & JYP, but I guess I'll be using alittle of it now. Anyway, what makes JYP different from the bosses of other companies is that he actually takes time to reply to some of the fans'(of his and 2PM's) tweets. And, Junho's tweets are so cute! ^^

Alright, I need to go do AQ now. Darn, I haven't do DLTC yet, I need to finished 35 Maths question by tomorrow 7pm? Kill me please. =( Hope Daniel Leck won't be as scary as last week. Heheh.
Busy & boring life
Monday, July 27, 2009 11:05 PM
3 entries in 3 weeks. It either means that I'm too busy that I don't have the time to blog, that, or, I don't have much to blog about. Actually it's a combination of both. I go to bed everyday wishing that there's 48 hours a day, so that I can dedicated 12 hours to school, 12 hours to homework & revision, 6 hours to TV, 6 hours to Internet & 12 hours to sleep. Okay, I'm probably getting sleepy, that's why I'm not making any sense.

Almost forgot to take back my EZ-link card today(because I was late last friday & didn't take it back). Was walking past the bubble tea shop when I remembered, then made my way back to school again. Sigh. Sis was also in the GO, collecting her EZ-link. She was also late on Friday(blame it on my bro) and I, being the meanie big sister(okay, I wasn't that mean. My classes ended at 1.20pm, I wasn't going to stay until 5pm but she was, since she was going to have training), asked her to help me collect but she happily went for training and forgot about it until about 6pm+, the GO was closed by then. -.- Anyway, so while we were there today, she flipped to this page of the late-coming records, everyone wrote more or less the same reasons, 'traffic', 'rainy day', 'left house late'...blah blah...until we both saw this reason for late-coming, 'Toilet was flooded.' LOL. Gotta admire that girl for her guts.

Just finished researching for Gambling topic for GP tomorrow. Points weren't difficult to make because I did an article review for gambling awhile back so I just had to twist them to the Singapore context. But the counter arguments took me a long time. Either I ended up contradicting my points or I couldn't refute my counter arguments. Argh, feel like tearing all my hair out.

Alright, I actually came online with the intent of watching 2PM. But GP took me too long(and too much of my patience), and I'm tired already. Shall just go to bed. Goodnight!
I need sleep!
Friday, July 17, 2009 9:31 PM
First of all, apologies for the lack of updates. Been really busy with school and all. Tutorials, remedials and trying to catch up with the work. Been surviving on less than 6 hours of sleep almost everyday. I know it's no big deal to some people, but to me, it is. Sigh, despite trying to do as much as I could during the week, there's still tons of work to be done this weekend. =( I can definitely feel the stress already. Well, if you've been slacking for the past 1 and a half years, and you just recently got back results that look like you did your exams blindfolded, it's no wonder you feel like you're never going to survive A Levels.

So anyway, TGIF! And because it's Friday, there's no school tomorrow that I can have the luxury of time to blog and to watch 2PM.

Hmm, actually I can't remember much of the week's events and there's nothing much for me to blog. I just felt like blogging to tell you guys that my blog's not dead yet. Hahaha. So pardon me for being random in this entry.

Went for a haircut today. Not exactly a cut nor a trim, just layering. But it wasn't much because the hairdresser told me that my hair is layered enough, and then she just snip some hair off the top of my head twice and tada, she's done! Lol. So my hair doesn't look any different.

Notice that I changed my desktop wallpaper to 2PM on the left? They look really hot in it. Cool poses, razor-shaven hair, tattoos(fake ones, of course). I've never really been a fan of tattoos but I guess the concept of using fake tattoos is okay since they are not permanent and still make them look hot with the bad-boys image.

Alright, shall go watch some 2PM now. Seeya.

I did promise that this entry would be random, didn't I? Haha!
School = bad
Friday, July 10, 2009 8:40 PM
School for the past 3 days was bad, so were results. And my body can't adjust to sleeping less than 8 hours a day! (Because I sleep for 12 hours almost every day of the long weekend! Lol.) Tired tired.

Came home around 4 just now and did linear regression tutorial. Practiced piano, but I was so tired that I couldn't concentrate much. Every Heart sounded awful, hit alot of wrong notes. But heck la! Haha. Anyway, watched some 2PM-related videos just now. Watched this clip where they were in New York introducing themselves in English. Junho's 'Hi. My name is 2PM' totally cracked me up! I was almost rolling on the floor laughing away. He wanted to say 'My name is Junho. I'm from 2PM' but he was so nervous about speaking in English that it became ''My name is 2PM!' LOL!!! And, idk, but no matter how many times I replay the clip, I keep hearing Chansung go 'We're pokemon...' instead of 'We're supposed to...' Hahaha. Here's the clip, judge for yourself. =P But Jaebeom, Nichkhun and Taecyeon's English was really amazing! If I only could speak like that...I wouldn't have screwed up my OP. Lol.

Alright, shall go watch Idol Army already! Bye bye! =D
