Sunsports Singles : lost Andrea 3-0,won Cindy(I'm not sure if that's her name,lol) 3-0.Two players out of three can get into the next round,so I'm in.

For the match against Andrea,Yingiet the umpire-cum-my-unserved-services-counter,counted a total of 9 services that I didn't manage to serve in.Never mind about what kind of word is umpire-cum-my-unserved-services-counter.

9!!!That's N-I-N-E!?!?I must have been imagining that the table was longer than it was.Yingiet's right,I need to get a new pair of contact lenses/glasses.But she said it today,but in a totally different setting; when we were on the bus but I didn't notice the vacant seat next to Tracy & ended up sitting at the bus rear.

Ok,what's over is over.We then had lunch @ Macs.Tracy came over to my house.I performed 'Can't Help Falling in Love' & 'Over the Rainbow' on the piano for Tracy.Hahaha,you can guess which Korean drama those songs came from.My Name Is Kim Sam Soon.But those pieces are easy-peasy to Tracy,a Grade 8 pianist.

We watched My Name Is Kim Sam Soon & had a good time laughing like loonies.Been at it for nearly 3 hours before going down to play table-tennis.

Oh yes,guess who's my opponent tomorrow?I can still recall my phone conversation with Andrea at Macs just now.
"Hello,Connie?You're against Delfina tomorrow."
"DELFINA!?!Ho~~" *not knowing what to say*
"Tracy's against Janice,the Sports School girl."

Was dead tired yesterday night after coming back home from the Sunsports competitions so I didn't come online nor blog about the competition results.

Won Gan Eng Seng Secondary 4-1.Lost Hwa Chong Junior College 4-1.Lost Victoria Junior College 4-1.

I think we played well in spite of the losses.I didn't expect an easy fight against Gan Eng Seng Secondary,remember at the Nationals?Our match against Gan Eng Seng took so long that we were the only ones left in Chung Cheng High's hall.I guess we were just lucky with the line-up yesterday,plus one of the China players was absent.As for the matches against the junior colleges,I guess the losses were more or less expected.Those players are students from junior colleges,they have far more experience & better skills than us.So yeah,nobody were too bothered or upset by the losses(but I'm not sure about Coach though).Haha.

But,I was bothered by the I-lost-count number of services' mistakes that I served.Cost our doubles quite a hefty price,at least more than 10 points.No idea what was wrong with me.If Coach was there & saw those services,I think we would have to practise our services throughout every training session next month.Thank Goodness he wasn't there.Lol.

Team category competition is over for us but coming up next,is the singles category on Thursday.Whatever it is,experience is still the most important.

After the competitions,my parents were supposed to fetch me & go Braddell's Sinten to get the shoes,but Sinten closes at 7pm.It was already nearing 6.30pm,reckoned we couldn't get there on time so my Dad said to go there another time.Then,we had dinner @ Thai Village.

When we got home,I slept quite early because I was already exhausted.I didn't know that 3 matches would drained me dry of energy.

And,today,I spent the whole of my afternoon,1pm to 7pm,reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.Completed about two-third of the book.Not too bad,two-third in 6 hours.I think I'm not reading too slowly,am I?Haha.I wasn't too familiar with the occasional french dialogues exchanged & had to read through the dialogue a few times before inferring what it meant.Basic words like Moi,Monsieur,Oui & words that resembled alittle like English words were alright to me.At least,I knew what they meant.But anything more than that,I had to infer its meaning from the sentence or paragraph prior to it or after it.

Yes,it's a great book but I guess you got to have a strong faith throughout.I'm alright with it since I'm a free-thinker & will probably forget everything in about 1 weeks' time.Lol.Anyway,after reading the book,I knew about things I didn't know before --- the Fibonacci sequence,PHI,pentacle and such.I'm especially fascinated by the number PHI,1.618.I had no idea that it existed in most living things,even on humans.Take the length of the hips to the feet and divide it by the length of the knees to the feet.According to the book,you're supposed to get the number 1.618.Amazing,huh?I kinda regret only reading the book now & not earlier.It's not too late now to read it,anyway.Haha.

Went to Great World City in the evening.Shopped around for a while before having dinner at a cafe.I had pizza & gelato ice-cream.Argh,at this rate I'm going,I won't be able to attain my 48kg!

Tomorrow's Sunsports competition,the mention of the schools we are up against with just makes me laugh.Gan Eng Seng Secondary,TJC,VJC & Hwa Chong JC.I don't dare to hope that we'll win,I'm just hoping that we don't get thrashed.Hahaha.I may seem pessimistic here but,the higher your hopes are,the more disappointed you're gonna get.But that doesn't mean we should just give up and let them thrash us.To Teammates : best of luck & 아자아자(aja aja)!Let's play our best! ^^

Just got back home.We went to visit Grandma & then went down to Sinten at Braddell to buy a pair of table-tennis shoes.But unfortunately,it was closed.I later found out from Jiehui that Sinten organised a table-tennis competition with Singapore Sports School or something like that & that's why it wasn't opened.I planned to get my new shoes before Monday's competition but oh well,I guess it has to wait.

After that,we went to Toa Payoh Central's Popular because my sister wanted to get her next year's textbooks.I got the coloured papers needed for my Geography scrapbook too.Then we went to Novena Square to shop.Got myself 2 pairs of ankle socks,just bought them on impulse.No idea why I got them when I don't really wear coloured ankle socks.Then bought The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown from MPH.I need it for English Holiday Homework book report.Talking about holiday homework,I have loads of it not done.Haha.

Then,we went to Milennia Walk.Had dinner@Big O.Lol,the name sounds naughty but the food was nice.They had this cake called 'The G Spot' made of chocolate fudge but I didn't have a chance to try it because they only sold the cake in whole,like 1 kg or 2 kg.A cake named 'G spot'?!?!LOL.Well,I did try the chocolate hazelnut cake with macademia nut ice-cream though & it's better than Swenson's desserts.

Oh yeah,while we were having our dinner at the outdoors,this red Lamborghini parked at the Conrad carpark.Wow,it was so much more beautiful than the green one I saw the last time.Everyone who walked past,no matter old or young,male or female,were either admiring the car,pointing to it or taking photos of it.The car was really amazing,even the sight of the car's butt makes me drool.Hahaha. ^^

Been out almost the whole day,it was no wonder I doze off in the car.Haha.Ok,I shall go brush my teeth.Getting late.Good night,everyone. ^^

Whoa,I woke up at 7.40am this morning & man,did I rush!I quickly got ready & ate breakfast.Breakfast was quite a problem for me because my lower set of teeth hurt due to the tightening of the braces wires yesterday.Moreover,my house ran out of bread & I had to eat biscuits instead.Tried to eat as quickly as possible despite the pain.Fortunately,my Dad said he'll fetch me to school.If not,I think I'll only reach school at like,8.30am.

While I was walking in from the school's main gate,I saw Zhenglaoshi & her husband drove in.Lol,made me quicken my walking pace.Tracy said that I was early by 1 minute,phew.Yesterday,over the phone,she kept reminding me that I cannot be late today because Zhenglaoshi is coming down to the table-tennis room.Well,I was almost late but I was not late.

The DSA(Direct School Admission) was alright but few girls turned out.I think there were only like,6 girls.But since 3 girls had already confirmed their DSA applications,so I guess we didn't need so many girls to turn out.The DSA ended earlier than I had expected so I came home after.

Alright,gotta go out for lunch & to visit Grandma.Bye. ^^

My sister's off to her netball camp.It's chalet actually but I've no idea why they chose to call it a camp,sounds as if they'll be sleeping in a swamp filled with mosquitoes.Yeah,I'll have the whole bed to myself today,though it's only for a night.Well,it's good enough.

Yes,I'm supposed to be practising & mugging for A maths re-exam that's on Thursday now.I actually came online to turn on the KBS Korean radio since they have a new playlist this week but I ended up blog-hopping & checking out the soompi forums.

Alright,I shall be more disciplined,turned on the Korean radio & switch off the monitor so that I won't be distracted by the computer.Bye.

Yesterday was Sunday.And well,didn't go out in the afternoon because my Dad's good old friend,Uncle Liu,came over for a visit & chit-chat session.Lol.Then went out in the late afternoon,nearing evening,to Funan IT Mall's v.hive to get the study tables.But since the renovations of the house have not even started due to the defects problems which the management is taking forever to correct,we're not moving in until the end of December or possibly early January. And v.hive told us that they can't put our study tables on hold for so long,until December.They advised us to order the tables at a later date,so we ended up not ordering anything after spending such a LONG time at the shop.They were overwhelmed with customers and didn't attend to us until about 15 minutes later.

They are my reflections on the fake computer at v.hive.Took them while waiting.

Today's training was at 1.30pm,as usual.My Dad was supposed to bring us out for lunch but a meeting suddenly cropped up and he couldn't make it on time.Oh well,my lunch was a pathetic packet of Cheezels.I was late too.Training was alright.After training,my Dad & family came to fetch me,they just got back from the new house. Then,we had dinner at the nasi lemak shop outside Chung Cheng High.My Mom got out of the car first,then I was the next.She thought I was going out from the other door that was nearer to me but I wasn't because there was alot of traffic going past.So I was about to get out from the same door she got out from,just as I was putting my left leg out first,she slammed the door,not knowing that I was there.My left leg felt a little numb at first.You see the door moving towards you but your reaction kinda slow down because you were too shocked to think of what to do next,then the door slammed your leg and yet for a second,your leg felt numb & you feel nothing,then the numbness slowly disappeared and finally,'Oooowwww!!!'Fortunately,after the 'Oooowww!!!',everything was still in place but I foresee that I'll have a huge purple bruise tomorrow.Just my luck.Anyway,the nasi lemak was not bad.

Woke up rather late this morning(or should I say,afternoon),almost 12 noon.Watched the Hongkong drama serial about this unreasonable mother-in-law & her daughter-in-law.I forgot what's the title but Myolie Wu & Bosco(or whatever his name is) are in it.It's super funny.

Then went to Expo with my family,excluding my sister because she was at the netball carnival.We went from the Asia Pacific Food Fair to the Home Design Fair and finally to the Penguin Book Fair.Saw some interior designs at the Home Design Fair.There was this showflat about Felicia Chin's dream home.Well,after stepping in,I think it's also my dream home.Hahaha.

While at the entrance of the hall of Book Fair,this lady approached me and asked me whether this was the fair that sells leather bags.She had mistaken me for one of the staffs there but I still said no since I was very sure it sold books.What's funny is that I was eating & stuffing popcorns into my mouth when she approached me.I mean,which company will allow its staffs to eat while on duty,and moreover allows its staffs to eat with such dining etiquette and so 'inhumanely' that people will thinks this company's staffs are pigs.And,do I look so much like a salesgirl?It's the second time this month that I've been mistaken as a salesgirl.I don't think my dressing today resembles anything of a uniform of a salegirl.

Then there was this guy who approached us for a donation when we were at the Book Fair.He was staring at me because I was stuffing the popcorns into my mouth.He must have been thinking,"Is this girl a pig or a pig?".He said bye but I didn't reply him because my mouth was full of popcorns.Lol.

We then went to The New House.Stayed there till the evening while my parents were settling the defects problem and also to do a rough sketch of the interior design.Then,came back to Siglap for dinner.

That was how my day was spent.So how was yours? ^^

I didn't managed to put the current layout yesterday.Had a hard time with the new google beta-blogger.Only succeeded just now.This new google beta-blogger is gonna scare off all the potential bloggers.I think livejournal or xanga is gonna have a sudden 'bloggers explosion',since I think they are more user-friendly than the current blogger-beta.First,the 'posting' page didn't load for me and then,they came up with bloody HTML code that is so different from the ones that most of us are familiar with.The widgets or whatever.We've been using HTML since the 'neopets age',where everyone compete to make their neopets shops the prettiest(but somehow,they looked the ugliest) using HTML codes.That was how I came to learn about HTML.You can say that everything was self-learned from online HTML tutorials.That was one thing I'm proud of.Then now,blogger comes up with widgets?!?!What the hell is that?

So,I was kinda lost when they kept giving the error message while I was trying to publish my new layout.Then after navigating to the help page,they had a line saying that I could click the 'revert to classic template' to get back to the old-blogger style of putting layouts.I went to my template page,and scrolled down,oh yes,there it was,a small 'revert to classic template'.They should have bolded the words,put them to font size 100 & put them at the top of the page because I think many bloggers will have to click on them to get back to the old way of putting layouts.

Alright,enough of ranting about the new blogger-beta.Let's move on.Had training in the afternoon today.Was late by 5 minutes.I think my performance during training was alright,there's room for improvement though.Then it was to Bubble Tea Shop with Andrea & Melinda after that.Chit-chat.Soon after,my family reached 85,bringing along my cousin Yu-chan(say Yoo-chan).He's half Japanese.I don't know if chan means child or something in Japanese.Anyway,he came over to my house in the afternoon to play xbox with my brother.Well,we went for dinner and sent him home.And then,we went on a search for a cooler bottle for my sister.You know,the ones netballers always use to store water.We went from Giant to Sheng Siong to Fairprice but went home empty-handed.Lol.

Hi.First post over here at kangnie.blogspot.com.Had some problems posting with the previous account and thus,created another account.I actually wanted to use back my 'connii' domain but stupid(and careless) me forgot to delete that url before deleting my google account so now,I've absolutely no access back to my old blog.So yeah,that account is no longer in use.

Why kangnie.blogspot.com?Well,I want short and simple like 'connie.blogspot.com' but obviously,common sense tells you that there are millions of bloggers on blogspot and definitely there will be one of them using the domain 'connie'.After all,it's so short and it's someone's name.Then,I wanted something like 'kangni.blogspot.com' but to my surprise,it was also being used by someone else.So,I tried mixing-and-matching my English & Chinese name,and,kangnie.blogspot.com was born!

Then,we had dinner at the nasi lemak shop outside Chung Cheng High.My Mom got out of the car first,then I was the next.She thought I was going out from the other door that was nearer to me but I wasn't because there was alot of traffic going past.So I was about to get out from the same door she got out from,just as I was putting my left leg out first,she slammed the door,not knowing that I was there.My left leg felt a little numb at first.You see the door moving towards you but your reaction kinda slow down because you were too shocked to think of what to do next,then the door slammed your leg and yet for a second,your leg felt numb & you feel nothing,then the numbness slowly disappeared and finally,'Oooowwww!!!'Fortunately,after the 'Oooowww!!!',everything was still in place but I foresee that I'll have a huge purple bruise tomorrow.Just my luck.Anyway,the nasi lemak was not bad.

Woke up rather late this morning(or should I say,afternoon),almost 12 noon.Watched the Hongkong drama serial about this unreasonable mother-in-law & her daughter-in-law.I forgot what's the title but Myolie Wu & Bosco(or whatever his name is) are in it.It's super funny.

Then went to Expo with my family,excluding my sister because she was at the netball carnival.We went from the Asia Pacific Food Fair to the Home Design Fair and finally to the Penguin Book Fair.Saw some interior designs at the Home Design Fair.There was this showflat about Felicia Chin's dream home.Well,after stepping in,I think it's also my dream home.Hahaha.

While at the entrance of the hall of Book Fair,this lady approached me and asked me whether this was the fair that sells leather bags.She had mistaken me for one of the staffs there but I still said no since I was very sure it sold books.What's funny is that I was eating & stuffing popcorns into my mouth when she approached me.I mean,which company will allow its staffs to eat while on duty,and moreover allows its staffs to eat with such dining etiquette and so 'inhumanely' that people will thinks this company's staffs are pigs.And,do I look so much like a salesgirl?It's the second time this month that I've been mistaken as a salesgirl.I don't think my dressing today resembles anything of a uniform of a salegirl.

Then there was this guy who approached us for a donation when we were at the Book Fair.He was staring at me because I was stuffing the popcorns into my mouth.He must have been thinking,"Is this girl a pig or a pig?".He said bye but I didn't reply him because my mouth was full of popcorns.Lol.

We then went to The New House.Stayed there till the evening while my parents were settling the defects problem and also to do a rough sketch of the interior design.Then,came back to Siglap for dinner.

That was how my day was spent.So how was yours? ^^

I didn't managed to put the current layout yesterday.Had a hard time with the new google beta-blogger.Only succeeded just now.This new google beta-blogger is gonna scare off all the potential bloggers.I think livejournal or xanga is gonna have a sudden 'bloggers explosion',since I think they are more user-friendly than the current blogger-beta.First,the 'posting' page didn't load for me and then,they came up with bloody HTML code that is so different from the ones that most of us are familiar with.The widgets or whatever.We've been using HTML since the 'neopets age',where everyone compete to make their neopets shops the prettiest(but somehow,they looked the ugliest) using HTML codes.That was how I came to learn about HTML.You can say that everything was self-learned from online HTML tutorials.That was one thing I'm proud of.Then now,blogger comes up with widgets?!?!What the hell is that?

So,I was kinda lost when they kept giving the error message while I was trying to publish my new layout.Then after navigating to the help page,they had a line saying that I could click the 'revert to classic template' to get back to the old-blogger style of putting layouts.I went to my template page,and scrolled down,oh yes,there it was,a small 'revert to classic template'.They should have bolded the words,put them to font size 100 & put them at the top of the page because I think many bloggers will have to click on them to get back to the old way of putting layouts.

Alright,enough of ranting about the new blogger-beta.Let's move on.Had training in the afternoon today.Was late by 5 minutes.I think my performance during training was alright,there's room for improvement though.Then it was to Bubble Tea Shop with Andrea & Melinda after that.Chit-chat.Soon after,my family reached 85,bringing along my cousin Yu-chan(say Yoo-chan).He's half Japanese.I don't know if chan means child or something in Japanese.Anyway,he came over to my house in the afternoon to play xbox with my brother.Well,we went for dinner and sent him home.And then,we went on a search for a cooler bottle for my sister.You know,the ones netballers always use to store water.We went from Giant to Sheng Siong to Fairprice but went home empty-handed.Lol.

Hi.First post over here at kangnie.blogspot.com.Had some problems posting with the previous account and thus,created another account.I actually wanted to use back my 'connii' domain but stupid(and careless) me forgot to delete that url before deleting my google account so now,I've absolutely no access back to my old blog.So yeah,that account is no longer in use.

Why kangnie.blogspot.com?Well,I want short and simple like 'connie.blogspot.com' but obviously,common sense tells you that there are millions of bloggers on blogspot and definitely there will be one of them using the domain 'connie'.After all,it's so short and it's someone's name.Then,I wanted something like 'kangni.blogspot.com' but to my surprise,it was also being used by someone else.So,I tried mixing-and-matching my English & Chinese name,and,kangnie.blogspot.com was born!

Alright,this is supposed to be a testing entry so that I'll be able to put up my new blog layout but I've written so much for a testing entry.Hahaha.

I'll put the layout up now and then,I'll go to sleep.Good night. ^^
