Yesterday,Coach reprimanded us for our attitudes during training.I had my share too,for my I-don't-care attitude.Truth to be told,it wasn't that I didn't give a care about playing that doubles match. It was just that the juniors' laughing & giggling & talking, often stopping to talk & laugh during services during the match irritated me alot.We were lagging behind by 1 set & a few points but there's no reason why we should just let them win. It's just a set & a few points,we can just win it back if we're determined,so why should we just give up?Yes,they may be just Primary Sixers now,but don't their primary schools' coaches warn them about talking during a match? We did win them in the end but Coach misunderstood & saw my pissed-off mood as an attitude problem. Alright,it won't happen again in future because if I see them talking & laughing during a match,I'll just either grit my teeth through the match or when my patience really runs out, scream at them. Anyway, things aside.I spent the whole afternoon today doing the cover page of my scrapbook. No idea why I'm taking so long to do a simple thing.Ok,maybe it wasn't simple because I had to trace & draw Times New Roman fonts for 3 times. It didn't turn out very much like Times New Roman, but it's still legible.Lol. It has been 1 week & 3 days already and Sinten's Aunty haven't even called me.Now I'm wondering whether she had helped me ordered the shoes.I badly need the new shoes now because who knows I may go for training tomorrow and fall into the drain. Now that it's raining these days & the soles of my shoes is so flat & smooth that I can just go skating on it,it might really happen. Okay,my sister wants her computer back so I shall end this entry.Bye. Labels: Irritated / Pissed / Times New Roman

Blogger is getting on my nerves.Couldn't get onto the 'posts' page on my computer, again, so I have no choice but to type this entry on my sister's computer. Hmm,I was quite busy over the weekend. That's why I didn't have a chance to blog.Let's see, saturday afternoon,I was typing summary & reflection for 2 geography newspaper articles.Evening time, went out with family to Liang Court because my parents wanted to go to Audio House to check the price of the Sharp LCD TV.We were wanted to have dinner at Tung Lok but somebody was holding their wedding there. We then went to Clarke Quay.My dad wanted us to have a quick dinner so that he could come home to watch his soccer match, but we were running quite late.Nearly 8pm(that's when the match starts),and we hadn't had our dinner. He suggested that we find somewhere with ESPN channel to have dinner. We walked around the whole of Clarke Quay and the places with ESPN channel were the pubs where they didn't have anything else besides alcohols & some snacks. Then there was one place with ESPN channel and something to eat,the HOOTERS.Fortunately,we didn't walk in there because the waiteresses are a turn-off.Their uniforms' track-shorts were hugging their flabs & cellulites & whatnots so tightly that more flabs were hanging out.Just by looking at their flabs,we would have been full.My Dad was asking me why they don't want to hire girls with better figures. So I replied,"Girls with good figures would have long been scouted by modelling agencies.Which model would want to work here as a waiteress and earn a miserly 1000 bucks salary?" Finally,we settled for buffet@ Swissotel Merchant Court. And no,my dad didn't get to watch his match.Lol. On Sunday, after fetching my brother from his piano class,we had dimsum for lunch @ PSA Building's HabourCity restaurant(or something like that, can't really remember) because my Dad had to visit a worksite at PSA.Then we went to HabourFront Mall to check out the price of the home theatre system.Yeah,we are quite busy with getting the things for the new house these few weeks in preparation for the moving-in.After that,we went to visit Grandma and then to Ang Mo Kio library as my sister needed to borrow some books for her holiday book review. And then finally,dinner@ Balestier's Boon Tong Kee. As you know,Balestier's has a long stretch of lighting shops along the road,we went to browse for some lights too.My parents were quite keen on this pendant light for the dining room. It's from Italy but I think it's too expensive.$2K+ for just a light hanging down from the ceiling!?!?No,it's not something as grand as a swarovski chandelier(ok then it wouldn't be just $2K,haha).It's just something like your normal long fluorescent tube, except it's suspended by 2 wires at the ends instead of it being fastened to the ceiling.$2000+??? And that's only for the dining room!It can't even light up the whole dining room for goodness sake!We still need some halogen lights in the dining room so that we won't be having our dinner in darkness or near-darkness. But my Dad thinks the price's reasonable.Man,he's just like that.Everything must be the best or if not, good quality. The sofas, coffee table, dining table, mattresses,TV,home theatre system and even the renovations.Everything is like twice(or even thrice) the price of the normal ones you can get at the regular furniture shop.Sigh,I hope we won't be living on cup noodles for a month after we move in.Lol. Alright,I didn't go for the chalet yesterday because I didn't want to waste my afternoon & evening over there.I made used of the time I had to complete my summary & reflection for the geography newspaper articles.Well, yes,I did finish all 10 of them(8 actually, since I finished 2 on Saturday) & watched It Started With A Kiss.Hahaha.Ok,I gotta go work more on my geography scrapbook!Bye! ^^ Labels: Busy Weekend / Flabby flabs / Lights

Lunch was 3 pieces of mini cakes which I bought from 85 because I was running quite late & of course, didn't have the time to sit down for a full meal. Then, headed for training. It was okay. But while Jiehui & I were playing against Lydia & Anthea,Coach asked us to let them lead by 4 points. That's F-O-U-R!?!?It's not like we are that good that we can afford to let our opponents lead by 4 points.Very soon,we got ourselves into eggs (5-0,6-0,etc).And soon,we lost 2-0, straight.4 points is too much. Before we knew it,the game was over.Anyway, after training,Kristy's mom gave me a lift home. Thanks,Aunty! ^^ This shall be another short one because I wanna watch 恶作剧之吻 now.Bye. Alright,a short one here.Had training in the afternoon.Kinda tiring, especially the doubles footworks.Almost died doing them. And,I think the balls for the doubles are coming back way too fast.We don't have enough time to la them.I practically whacked every ball that came my way.Not that whacking is useful during competitions because someone from the other side would probably just whack it back. So,what's the point? After training,my Dad came to fetch me & then we headed down to Sinten.Sinten didn't have the black-base-yellow-design Butterfly shoes I wanted. In the end,I settle for & ordered a pair black Butterfly shoes.Aunty said next Monday is the earliest it'll arrive because apparently,Sinten doesn't bring in the black version. As for the bat,I decided not to change to a new bat.Instead I'll just get a thicker sidetape to cover up on the chipped off wood.Anyway,I only have 6 more months to play before hanging up my bat.Unfortunately,Sinten currently doesn't have any 10mm or 12mm Butterfly sidetape in stock & Aunty said I can get it when I collect my shoes next Monday. Then went to Toa Payoh Central to have dinner@Ichiban before coming home. As I said, this is a short one. So,I'll just end here.Goodbye. Labels: Doubles / Footworks / Shoes

Today morning,I went out with Family & sent my brother to his piano lesson at Marine Parade.Shopped around Parkway while waiting for my brother.Actually,Parkway doesn't have much to shop about.Bought some Japanese candies & snacks at Isetan's Japanese Confectionery Fair.An hour later,my brother's piano lesson ended & we had lunch before heading to Eastpoint's Sony Ericsson's Servicing Centre. My sister's W800i was having some problems. There were only 2 counters opened at the servicing centre.I reckoned we spent nearly 2 hours waiting for our turn.It taught me something : never get a Sony Ericsson phone in future. Then we headed down to Expo for Sitex 2006.It was so crowded that everyone could only move at snail pace.Went for dinner @ the newly-opened Xin Wang Hongkong Cafe at Siglap, near our house. The food were not bad,but of course,it can't compare with those from the street stalls in Hongkong. After dinner,we went to rent vcds/dvds@VIDEO EZY.Rob-B-Hood,Ice Age 2 & Hoodswink. The last two movie titles were my siblings' ideas. VIDEO EZY doesn't have much TVB Hongkong serials up for rental. My Dad suggested that I should go Poh Kim if I'm looking for TVB serials.I had no idea that Poh Kim does rentals.I thought they only deal with sales of the vcds/dvds. Came home soon after.Watched It Started With A Kiss(恶作剧之吻).I'm usually not fond about watching Taiwanese dramas but this time,I think it's quite funny.I actually told Andrea the other time,"Eeee!!!" when she was commenting on it.Hahaha.Alright,I'm changing my mind right now. Signing off.Good night. ^^ Labels: Family / Sitex 2006 / VIDEO EZY

Went to Sunsports yesterday for the match against Delfina.Like I said,I don't stand any chance against her.And so,I played one last match(& lost 3-0) & went back to AHS for training. It was raining cats & dogs(metaphor used).Coach wanted us to take a lift from the BMW (which I presume, belongs to the Hwa Chong Coach). And no,the driver wasn't Coach himself(oh,he doesn't have a license),it was his friend,Bearbear JL(we don't know his name,he looks alittle like a teddy bear,so we just call him that).LOL.We didn't want to take a lift because one,we wanted to take Bus 14 to Katong to have Katong Laksa for lunch & two,the 6 of us had to squeeze into the backseats of the BMW!?!?For goodness sake, that's a 5-seater BMW(with a 3-seater backseat),not a limosine or an 8-seater MPV.But Coach refused to let us because he knew that we would definitely be late for training@AHS. No amount of pleading could change Coach's mind. The 6 of us(Tracy,Yingiet,Serene,Geling,Lydia & I) ended up squeezing ourselves into the backseats. It was no easy feat.No idea how we managed to get ourselves into the backseats & was actually able to close the doors, but we did it.Coach said that nine Hwa Chong guys was able to squeeze into the backseat before.Who was he kidding?6 girls could barely get into the backseat,so how could 9 guys manage to? After getting ourselves enough space to breathe,Bearbear JL drove us down to the Old Airport Rd's hawker centre for lunch.Little did we know that it was a nightmare ride. While driving into the carpark,he almost knocked down a lady.It sure scared the wits out of us.I think everybody in the backseats had their hearts stopped for a second.I was relieved to take a break from the nightmare ride.Well, had our lunch & took the BMW back to AHS.While on the expressway,Serene said that the people in every car we drove passed was staring at the backseats.Hahaha.We finally reached AHS but was 20 minutes late for training,Coach included. Training was alittle tiring than usual.Maybe it was because I was not feeling well with a alittle cough & a running nose.Went to 85 with Zhiying & Yingiet for Bubble Tea and had cup noodles for dinner as well. Zhiying & Yingiet left on a 2am flight for Shanghai in the midnight. They can't see this but, Bon voyage & have great fun over there, yeah?Remember to get a plastic bag to capture the cold air in Shanghai, tie it & bring it back for me,alright?Hahaha. And,oh yeah, take loads of photos,ok?Yingiet,if you don't look good in them,it's alright.I just wanna see the Shanghai scenes, not you.HAHAHA.I'm just kidding. ^^ Hmm,today,I finished The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown in the morning. Not too bad,I finished it in less than 3 days.Nice twist to the story but I think the ending is alittle too abrupt? Then,I went to the new house in the afternoon to help my Dad lay the corrugated cardboards & plywood planks on the marble floor in preparation for the renovations.Man,it sure was a workout.Perspiration just masked my whole face. Finally,at 5pm,we finished laying all the cardboards & planks. Then we went to Tampines Mall to shop around before having dinner@Crystal Jade.I got myself a purple Fila shoebag & Fila waterbottle.Talking about bottles,I haven't go get my Nike bottle from 1F classroom.I wonder if it's still there.Lol. If I'm not wrong,Tracy's leaving for Japan tonight.Yeah,Bon voyage too, girl.Have fun.Well, the purpose of a vacation is to have all the fun you can have & to also to relax yourself. As you can see, everybody's going somewhere for a vacation.Darn, life is so fair, huh? But,maybe if I keep my fingers crossed,we may be booking a two-nights' stay in Swissotel. So it isn't so bad.But still,it can't compare with going overseas.Haha. Now,I have a nose stuffed enough that I can sing BoA's Everlasting &,still sound like her. That's important because, what's the point of singing someone's song when you don't sound like her?Haha.Okay,I wanna watch My Name is Kim Sam Soon now.Good night. ^^ Labels: Nightmare ride / 5-seater BMW / Workout

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
