Anyone wants 2 free $90 tickets to Gwen Stefani's concert at Indoor Stadium at 8pm tonight? I'm not going because I know nothing about her music, neither do anyone in my family. 2 more hours left to the concert, if nobody wants, then I shall just waste it. Interested parties, send me an sms. Only applies to friends & people whom I know because I don't want to risk having a stranger coming to my house to get the tickets. Finally, a break. Had 4 tests during the past few days which almost had us all killed. Yesterday after school, the girls & I went to Eighteen Chefs at Eastpoint for lunch. After which, I went home. Today was National Day celebration at school. I'm not what you would call patriotic so I wasn't that crazy about wearing red and the mini-parade at our school today. The parade was alright, not exactly amazing. After the parade, we went to the upper secondary block to view the tree-planting ceremony. But the girls were more interested in getting the attention of all the camera-men because since it's our last year, we would like to have our faces appearing everywhere in school. We took alot of photos with one another too. After everything has ended, we(Zhiying, Yingiet, Grace & I) went to Simpang for lunch. Had roti prata and milo dinosaur but the milo dinosaur tasted like bandung. Haha. I don't have much to blog about so I just summarised everything. Alright, see you! Labels: A break

2.4km run at ECP today was hell. I didn't pace myself and soon got very tired after running less than 400m. I tried Yingiet's advice and mentally sang 西界. But I didn't even got past one line of it. 因为我活在西界...argh, forget it. I was so tired that I couldn't even remember what's the next line. Somehow, I managed to reach the finish line and got a position of 119. Thanks to those who cheered me on. Especially the juniors at the stations. I heard them. I heard Junrong's voice too. That's about all I had heard. Maybe there were more but I was simply about to die from the run. After the run, went with the girls to Macs for breakfast. Then we went to play table-soccer just outside Macs. Our(Grace, Jollene & I) team won the other team(Steph, Tracy & Shanmin) twice. Haha. Super funny to see ongoals because I think the ground was tilting to one side, which unfortunately was the other team's goal post. Haha. Then we headed home soon after. While I was on Bus 196, there was this man whom I think most probably is mentally ill. He kept hitting his head hard into the metal pole. He was speaking quite loudly to no one in particular. I heard him say "I'm dying" or something despite mine having music blasting in my ears. I'm not trying to be mean or gloat over someone's misfortune but the ride was really a scary one. I spent the afternoon doing Chemistry & Social Studies. Social Studies was so difficult. I spent such a long time on it. Went to Compass Point in Sengkang in the evening. Wanted to have dinner at Pizza Hut to have pluck-out-the-cheese-pizza at first but the queue there was as long as a snake. Then my parents suggested to go somewhere else for dinner. And we ended up at Goodwood Park Hotel again because my mom wanted to eat Thai Village and buy the durian desserts(which she didn't got to buy yesterday) from the cake and dessert shop. However, upon reaching there, despite booking in advanced, Thai Village told us that they didn't have a table for us because they had a full-house again. My parents were quite unhappy about the poor quality of service because the person over the phone actually told us that we could get a table for 5 at 8.15pm. So why tell us that there's a table for us when there isn't one in the first place and make us go all the way down to town, only to tell us there's no table? If they had told us that they would have a full-house tonight, we could have easily gone to other Thai Village outlets instead. Thai Village, Goodwood Park Hotel, Scotts Rd, blacklisted. In the end, we had dinner at the hotel's coffee lounge. The food was great. Service was even better. And yes, the durian puffs & durian crumbles(made from solid durian, with the seeds) from the cake and dessert shop was heavenly. Alright, I'm sleepy right now. I'll go sleep soon. Goodnight. I've a feeling I'll be aching all over tomorrow. I already am, but it'll be worse tomorrow. Haha. Labels: 2.4km run

School was rather slack today because we had 3 free periods as Biology teacher was absent. So almost all the Biology students gathered to talk about mysterious phenomenas and later on, to ghost stories. The atmosphere was quite eerie, with the occasional jokings from the guys. But I think it’s one of the few conversations that can go on for so long and involve a large number of students. Haha. After school, went for lunch at Long John Silver at Eastpoint with the girls. And then to Popular to get a book of fullscape paper. Reached home, went to the gym to run 2.4km because I’ve long forgotten how long & tiring a 2.4km run is. I only did 2.4km run in the gym because I thought that if I did more, I will be bedridden tomorrow. Haha. So I did 2.4km in 18 minutes. Lousy, I think I’ll be among the last. See, that’s the result of not doing sports or exercising for 6 months. I’m dreading tomorrow’s run. ************************* These days, everyone's talking about Prom night. This year's prom will be held at Four Seasons Hotel. And we just voted for the proms kings & queens in our class yesterday. Prom kings: Weehoe & Julian. Prom queens: Tracy & Shanmin. I gave my 2 votes to two of them. Haha. Alright, I have to go sleep now to replenish my energy for tomorrow's run. But I bet I'll be aching all over tomorrow. Goodnight! Labels: Slack day

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
