This week had been a fun one, with Ah Cat(Catherine), Priscilia and Xinyi & Co, I mean. They never fail to make everyone laugh. I find myself looking forward to school for their company (even though I do dread the tutorial lessons alot because I always don't have any solutions to present to the class). Yesterday, lunch @ Long John's with them was crazy. I think we kinda irritated this two other guys, who were mugging away, with our horribly loud laughters. Sorry! Then it was back at school in the Student Lounge, lazing around(well, that only applies to Ah Cat and me), listening to 93.3 on the player provided and humming to the songs while waiting for Econs make-up lecture to start. Wasted my 1 and a half hour in LT 2 because I kept dozing off and had no idea what the hell the lecturer was talking about. Regretted taking Econs. Should have taken Geog right from the start, and I reckon I would be doing pretty fine now instead of pulling my hairs over AVC and AFC, etc. I don't see how the Audio Visual Club has got anything to do with Econs. Lol. And table tennis training was kind of dull because only 5 people in total turned up. Lol. Today was Track & Field Meet. It was alright, I guess. I'm sunburnt now because I stood under the sun throughout the entire meet. Anyway, Gamma swiped all the Championships including Cheerleading except for the TA Championships which were cleaned out by Alpha. The other two house, sadly, went home quite empty-handed. Lol. I've to admit that Gamma's cheerleading was really good, so they really deserve it. But I thought maybe the 3 other houses' cheerleading squads should get medals or plaques or anything. I mean, they have trained so hard for the past months, till 10pm most of the time I heard. Even if they weren't as good as the winning squad, their hardwork should at least be recognised. Okay, since I have the time, I'm going off to watch 命中注定我愛你, a idol drama recommended by Ah Cat. She says it's super nice and funny. So, bye! Labels: School, Sports

A quick update since I have some time on hand. Or so, I deceive myself. PW has been a total hair-puller. We are still racking our brains over GPP. Can't think of a perfect or close-to-perfect GPP. Most of the proposals we came up with have some kind of loophole or another. Been negotiating with Ms Thangam for postponement of the deadline. I would say that we've been rather successful with it so far. Lol. Enough of PW. Table tennis individual competitions was a total trash. Told ya I was there to take up a butt-space in PLMGS' hall. I think my match took a total of 10 minutes only? Haha. Rushed back to TJ for floorball. Mr Tan, the floorball teacher-in-charge, was in the hall. He looked at me accusingly and said, "I thought you have competitions today?' I was like, 'Oh, ended already.' Lol. Floorball was fun. I still need to brush up alot on ball control, need to control the ball with the stick as if I'm controlling it with my hands. That screams only one word, 'PRACTISE!!!' Sucks having to wait 3 more weeks to get my stick. Made a wasted trip down to Valhall last Sunday, the stick I wanted was sold out. I want my own stick like now. Alright, it's back to PW now. I wouldn't be blogging if not for the wait for my files to be transferred to my new laptop. No, wait, correction: my new laptop, hand-me-down from Dad. But specifications are totally imba, it's less than a year old and comes with a bluetooth mouse(also a hand-me-down from Dad), so I have no complaints. Haha. And so here's 2 weeks in a nutshell. Alright, it's too much to be called a nutshell, but you get my point.
The season is over. Lost to both SAJC and NYJC. We didn't get into the next round. I was utterly disappointed with myself for SAJC's match. No idea what the hell I was playing. Played worse than a primary school kid. If only I had played better and won it down, we would have advanced to the next round. But ifs are suppositions that don't make life any better. Moving on does.
***ARK Ambassador event at Junction 8 on 2 weeks ago was alright. Believe it or not, it was my first time giving out fliers. I was quite apprehensive initially but I was more convinced that I was doing alright when I finished the first stack of fliers assigned to me. I wouldn't say that the event was a total success, nor was it a failure. It's somewhere in between, I guess. Lol. After the event, went to walk around almost the whole of Junction 8 with Shanmin, Eunice, and the bball seniors, Zhihao and Weixiong. It was quite awkward, really, because there were bound to be shops that guys wouldn't step into and same goes for the girls. Now to think of it, total gender equality is unattainable, I should have wrote that in my GP essay. Anyway, we chose to walk into sports shops and handphone shops in the end which were pretty much good choices because I'm scouting for a new pair of running shoes as my current pair is close to becoming a piece of trash.
***Floorball 3-on-3 Competitions at Tampines West CC. I love my team: Shengxian, Weiling, Theresa, Luowei, Pinn Xian and I! Even though we didn't get into the next round, I have to say that for beginners, we were doing good and I believe we all had gained a good experience.
I fell on-court while trying to mark an opponent and trying to get the ball away from her. Ahh, so embarrassing! My 5th time falling infront of a huge audience in TJ. Lol. Never mind, I predicted that there will be more to come for as long as I'm in TJ. Haha.
***Failed Maths test as expected, but did it better than my previous one. And Mr Ang is still looking down on A Maths B3-ers. I hate it when he does that. Grr. It's so demoralising. But there's no way I can prove him wrong, can I?
***Was supposed to study for Econs test on Thursday after school with Catherine and Priscilia at The Bus. It's more commonly and correctly known as the Students Lounge but whenever I think of the word 'lounge', I think of a carpeted room with comfy sofas and cushions. Basically, it's everything which the Students Lounge isn't, so calling it 'The Bus' works more for me. Haha. In our 3 hours there, I only managed to finish 6 pages of Econs. How productive. Catherine and Priscilia la, kept making me laugh. I think we were being a bunch of nuisances and about to tear the bus down. Priscilia was doing her Japanese homework, and then we took her homework to see we could understand anything. So we came to this word 'Nabe' which means pan in Japanese. And then Catherine kept sprouting the vulgarity and insisting that she was saying 'pan'. Yeah, 'Nabe' is pronounced almost the same way as that certain Hokkien vulgarity. And Priscilia was telling us that the first time she received her homework marked by her Japanese teacher, she was so shocked. Because, on her homework was all red circles, no ticks. It really did look like she did everything wrongly. Turned out that the Japaneses do not use ticks, but circles instead. So on some pages, where the teacher was supposed to put a huge red tick, there was one huge red egg instead. Lol. Catherine was saying that Priscilia will get too used to the Japanese way of marking and then in TJ, when the teachers circle her homework in red, she will think that she got everything right. Haha. *** Kinda regretted joining to become the Track-&-Field Meet student officials. It's a good experience to become one of the finishing judges and know how they actually come up with the positions and all, but I'm missing too much of trainings, both table-tennis and floorball, because it takes precedence over PDPs and eats into my training times which isn't a good thing. I look forward to trainings, but in the end, I only get to attend about half an hour of them. =(
It will be over soon, 3 more heats and 1 actual meet to go!
***HAPPY 17th Birthday, Tracy!!! Yay, one more person to join Zhiying and I in being seventeen! Now waiting for Shanmin, Yingiet, Hweeli, Andrea and last of all, Kristy(sad, LOL)!
Belated birthday dinner for Tracy at TM Cafe Cartel on Friday night with the girls was wonderful. But I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Of course, I enjoyed the laughters, jokes, talks and most of all, the company. But there was something that irked me. Some of the girls might have noticed it as well. Ah, never mind. Perhaps I was tired from school and tended to be alittle more sensitive.
And yes, I've to agree with Zhiying, the Fish-n-Chips that we ordered wasn't nice at all. I still prefer Swensen's one because it is breaded. But the Bitter Chocolate Fudge Cake is love!
Photos (courtesy of Zhiying) :
Quoting from Zhiying's blog: While waiting for our beloved KPK to arrive from her Palace in Siglap. Lol. Alright, that's all I have for now. School, for me in the past 2 weeks, had been pretty screwed up. Couldn't catch up at all because I missed a number of lectures dues to competitions and most of my tutorials are not done yet. So, I've to go back to catching up on my tutorials now! Seeya!

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
