So I went for maths consultation with Mr Ang yesterday morning. Then went down to Kallang for training. Was feeling a little feverish. And you know, when you're feeling unwell, your joints hurts when you try to move. No? Well, mine did, so I wasn't running as hard as I should be. Was quite guilty that I attended the training half-heartedly.
After training, bathed and rushed down to Conrad for uniform fitting. Thank god I wasn't late. I was the earliest, after Debbie. Had a pleasant time chatting together with the other interns even though we barely knew each other. They are all very nice people, looking forward to interning with them. Anyway, I'm working at Oscar's with a number of people, and my uniform shirt is too huge for me! The sleeves went all the way up to the midway point of my palms.
Headed home after the fitting ended. Then to Grandma's house for dinner. Came home and that's when hell began. I started feeling so cold, my joints hurt like shit that I didn't feel like moving much, my head was throbbing like mad, and it worsened everytime I tried to get up from sitting. I was shivering and had to pull the blanket over me when I slept. Then I woke up in the middle of the night feeling so hot. I thought I had slept for a long time, but when I checked my phone time, it was only 12.40am, barely 2 hours after I went to bed. So I went back to bed again, only to wake to my mom shaking me, telling me that I was having a fever and dragging me out of bed to take medication.
The fever subsided this morning. But I'm still left with horrible aching joints, a runny nose, a cough, blocked ears and I'm still feeling cold. I feel like crap now. Trying to cheer myself up by researching on how my family is going to spent the first two free&easy days in Taiwan. I feel like dragging them from Taoyuan to Taipei to shop for the first night. Then on the second day, we will go to the amusement park in Taoyuan? I'm not really keen on visiting alot of attractions in Taoyuan because getting around is a major problem as Taoyuan does not have an MRT system, unlike Taipei. So that leaves only 2 alternatives: buses and cabs. But buses are pretty complicated, even more so for someone who barely knows her Taipei from Hsinchu and worse, sound like crap in her Chinese when conversing with native speakers. Cabs are for, those who have loads of money to spare because a 20 minute-ride can set us back by 25 SGD!?! And Singaporeans were complaining about our recent taxi fare hike? Seriously, I would rather spend that kind of money on other things.
Okay, I'm going to go watch tv!
Burn Maths

I turned down a chance to train floorball in school because I decided yesterday that I want to spent today on maths assignment. So today, I sat at my study table for 2 whole hours, and realise that I only know how to do 2 out of 10 questions. -.- Mr Ang(kukueh) is gonna kill me at the math consultation this friday. Any kind soul wanna lend me your assignments 1 and 2?
Here's what happens when you do a Mariah Carey's Without You at an audition without getting a copy of the lyrics beforehand:
I watched that twice and still can't stop laughing at it. Lol.
School's out
Saturday, November 01, 2008 5:05 PM
School's out. Time really flies. My first year in the college has ended already. I wanna thank Ah Cat, Pris, Hweeli, Shanmin and the floorball girls for making the school year a bearable one. I still remember that at the beginning of the year, I didn't like my class at all. Perhaps because after 4 years in a sportsclass, I wasn't familiar with the environment that an ordinary class should have. I felt as if sportsclass and 18/08 was as different as day and night because the environment both had was completely different. I didn't understand why people could laugh at the slightest things which I didn't even find funny. And it didn't help if there's someone's laughters was getting so much on my nerves that I had to clench my fists everytime I hear it. So on the night they released the new class list on matrix, I saw that my name was no longer on 18/08's list but had been transferred to 19/08's, you had no idea how happy I was. Never mind that it would mean that I would have to make new friends all over again, all I wanted was to get away. Then later that night, I went to check matrix again, my name was transferred back to 18/08. I was so crestfallen. But thank God I met Ah Cat and Pris who were the new students in my class. I'll never forget the first time Ah Cat and I spoke. It was in LT 1 during Chem lecture and we were sitting at the very left corner of the LT, she didn't understand the quantum shell stuffs so she asked me about it, and I explained it to her. Little did I know that she and her cousin, Pris, were going to be my best buds. They were the funny people who are genuinely funny that you don't have to laugh 'fakely' at their jokes and they were the ones who made me look forward to school (even though I still dread tutorials sometimes). I just can't express my gratitude enough.

Had OP yesterday, which means PW has officially ended for me! Yay!!! But I don't think I did well for Q&A though. Never mind, it's all over. Goodbye TJ085! Till next year when we collect our PW results! Goodbye PW folder, you'll be deleted for good! Muahahaha! Goodbye Pris' house! Oops, no, we are going back there for Econs project. But this time it'll be with my favourite people! Haha. I can imagine us in Pris' house and talk crap for one whole day without getting anything done. Bet you 50 bucks that it definitely will happen. =P
So after OP yesterday, we had a hard time deciding where to go next. Took so long to decide. In the end we settled for Bugis Junction. Had a late lunch at Pastamania. The BeefBolognaise-lovers, me and Ah Cat! Haha, I was the one who introduced her to it at the beginning of the year because she kept complaining that she always order those expensive pastas on the menu and in the end, all taste not nice. Seriously, I had Beef Bolognaise at so many places, the one at Pastamania still owns. And how come I had no idea that Pastamania has students meals until yesterday? Why is it that I always pay 7 or 8 bucks for a bowl of pasta when I can get it at like 5 bucks? Anyway, 5 bucks is really cheap considering that pasta is much more filling than a Mac student meal.
Even though I just said pasta is filling, after eating, I went to buy my favourite Ddeokbokki(spicy Korean rice cakes). I didn't go to Bugis for Beef Bolognaise, I went there for Ddeokbokki. HAHA. Drank bubble tea. Yes I know I blasted the calories. Lol.
Now I know where to get cheap cases for my iPhone. Saw this cute angel case complete with wings at one of the shops there. 10 bucks only, compared to those 60 bucks cases that they are selling at Epicentre. Even the red leather case my Dad got for me from Singtel wasn't cheap, but it doesn't matter because my Dad paid for it. Lol.
We went into this stationary shop which I called it 'the Kinokuniya branch' because I don't understand why the Kinokuniya at Bugis doesn't have a section which sells cute japanese stationeries when all of its other outlets have. They have a wide variety of diaries. I'm definitely getting a diary for next year, but I haven't decide on whether I should go for the simple Monologue one or the cute Disney one.
Training today was draining. It didn't help when you're late and ran all the way from MRT station to the sports hall so that you can get there at 11am when it was already 10.55am. Nearly died while doing warmups. Was panting like shit already. Then, didn't do very well for training. My shots were rolling on the ground and looking like passes instead while passes look like...seriously, I don't know what those were.
Got home after training but my parents had already left for the travel fair without me. =( But I just received news that we'll be spending Christmas overseas. Taiwan + Hong Kong from 19-31 Dec. No snow, but sightseeing, sightseeing, shopping, shopping, SHOPPING! Our last holiday was also Taiwan + Hong Kong, and I came back with 2 pairs of Nikes, 2 bags, and close to 30 pieces of new clothes with almost half of them from Espirit in Hong Kong. Because Hong Kong's Espirit is slightly cheaper than Singapore's, so my sis and I walked in and went on a spending spree. Haha. I'm kinda disappointed that we're going Hong Kong again, because the last time we went, within two days, I already knew how to navigate around and felt like a local even though I had no idea how to speak or understand Cantonese . But I guess Dad misses Hong Kong since he had spent some years there.
On a random note, my 减肥计划 starts today since PW's over. I realise I eat alot during PW meetings. Haha. I didn't eat lunch today and I don't feel hungry!!! ^^

First of all, I'm a Kpop fan, especially of 2PM, MBLAQ, 2NE1 and FT Island. Actually, I like Kpop, Korean entertainment, Korean dramas, Korean language, Korean culture, Korean food, basically anything Korean. So I guess you can call me a fan of Korea.
Second, eating is one of my favourite pastimes. I think my size says it all. =P I'm not picky about food but there's only one thing that I don't like eating, that is, sweet potato.
Third, I love sports. Been playing table tennis for about 6 years now, and floorball, 2 years. But I would have to say that I like floorball more. I don't know, but putting the ball into the goal, making an accurate pass, chasing after the ball, even sweating like a pig, gives me the sense of satisfaction that nothing else can.
Fourth, I can't live without the Internet. You can take away my phone, TV, mp3, bed, but please don't take away my Internet because...I just can't live without the internet.
Lastly, if there's anything I dislike, it would have to be making decisions. Where to go, what to eat, what to do next, which is nicer/better...I just don't like deciding. I always leave it to others because honestly, it doesn't matter where we're going, what we're eating or what we're doing to do. What matters most is the company and whether we're having a great time together.
